Gertrude Valley – Milford Sound

The most exhilarating and awesome hike so far was through Gertrude Valley, up to the shoulder of a mountain following a cascading stream. Once on top the views were astounding!!!!! We were able to see a portion of Milford Bay through mountains that towered thousands of feet straight up…..absolutely an amazing hike…….
