The Mekong sustains hundreds of villages and thousands of people along its banks. Crops are grown along the shoreline, fisherman set nets from rocky points, people pan for gold, others bath and wash laundry. Mile after mile we witness how the Laos people are dependent on the mighty Mekong River.
