Rumble

It is Saturday, December 28th, 8:00 PM, the house is super quiet; the trees outside are heavily laden with snow and I am sipping on a glass of wine thinking in 10 hours Nick and I are leaving for Addis Ababa Ethiopia and then onward to Kakamega Kenya. In some ways it hardly seems real, and then I look at our packed bags and the rumble of excitement goes through me.
