Company's Coming!

Sometimes precious gifts of time and friendship happen when it is least expected. Call it happen chance, karma, or maybe star alignment. In January we learned that our very special friends from Wales would be in Sedona at the same time as us. In preparation for their visit, Bob and Dawna created a beautiful dinner allowing mom time with Pat, the daughter of her pen pal of 25 years.

Lewis Gathering 2015

We meet on February 16th in Sedona to spend a week with mom, Jean Lewis, in honour of her 90th birthday. As each group arrives drinks are poured, food is prepared, and everyone seems to be talking at the same time.

Mom takes her place at the head of the table and with immense pride stands to make a toast to us - her family. With hardly a dry eye in the room, we raise our glasses in solidarity and start an amazing 7 days together.
